Encryption
Teacher Side uses AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit.
Access control
Role-based access controls support teacher and school workflows. MFA is required for Admin roles, and SAML 2.0 SSO is available for district-level access reviews.
Hosting and retention
Teacher Side is hosted in AWS us-east-1. Customer data is purged 90 days after contract termination or earlier at district request.
Privacy
Teacher Side supports FERPA/COPPA-aligned handling and district Data Processing Agreement review.
Teacher authority
Teacher Side prepares reviewable drafts and configured context. It does not automatically send family communications, issue final grades, make discipline decisions, or diagnose students.
